la Ocean_Walker : This happens every year for the cobra gold joint exercises with the US Military, and I now understand that it happens yearly at each military base in Thailand, however, in thirty-four years of extensive travel throughout Thailand,I have only seen one of these....they are generally only military events, though a few, (incliuding the one I attended) are held in Issan each year as part of some larger festival
